The FRABILL Headquarters Hub Shelter.........A Great Option!!

12/22/2014

There are two main types of portable ice shelters.......a "Flip-Over" and a "Hub" style.   Dakota Prairie Angling utilizes both types as both have their time and place depending on clients and type of fish that are being targeted.  The "Hub" style shelter can be very useful and beneficial if it fits your fishing style.  We use it in guiding clients for a number of reasons that include......

1.  When looking for maximum room, this is as close as it gets to a permanent shack.  Hub style shelters have the most room of all portables.  These shelters allow drilling of holes in any configuration and number needed.  They are great when fishing with a large group or kids as it allows fishermen to spread out and move around.  Doors on either end allow easy and safe access.
2.  Hub shelters can be put up and taken down with in minutes with its quick set frame.  They are easily stored in a carrying bag and come with an anchoring kit so using them in the wind is no problem.  Once anchored, they are solid enough to be used in the worst of South Dakota winds.
3.  Dakota Prairie Angling's #1 goal is to keep you on the fish!  Remaining mobile while chasing roaming schools of perch and walleyes is crucial.  This hub shelter keeps mobility an option and allows us to easily move a group of anglers when needed.
4.  The Headquarters Hub Shelter is easily heated even with the smallest of heaters.  It retains heat and it's black color collects a lot of heat on sunny days contributing to comfortable fishing.
5. Frabill Hubs are economically priced allowing them to fit in to many budgets.

We invite you to check out the FRABILL Headquarters Hub Shelter!  It is a quality made versatile shelter that definitely has a place in today's ice fishing world!
